Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder, Ramires, has been handed a four-game ban after accepting an FA charge of violent conduct during the Blues’ defeat to Sunderland.
The Brazilian accepts a charge of violent conduct for striking Sebastian Larsson and will miss the rest of the English season due to it being his second red-card offence
The former Benfica man hit Sebastian Larsson in the face in an incident that was not spotted by referee Mike Dean and will now sit out the remainder of the season.
“Ramires receives a four-match ban which will start with immediate effect
“The ban includes three games for this offence plus an additional game for his sending-off at Villa Park last month.
”Manager Jose Mourinho and his assistant, Rui Faria, have until Monday to respond to their own charges of misconduct, with the Blues boss facing one for his comments to the media on referees and Faria two for his behaviour on the touchline.
