Anal cancer is one of the most aggressive types of cancer, especially if not detected in its early stages. Its unfavorable location, which makes it a taboo for most of the population, is yet another reason why this cancer is often overlooked.

What Is Anal Cancer?

Anal cancer develops at the opening of the rectum (anus) from a lump which is created by the abnormal and uncontrolled growth of cells in the anus. Although it’s not very common, it’s often overlooked as the symptoms it gives are too embarrassing to discuss.

Anal cancer and colorectal cancer are two different types of cancer. The colorectal cancer affects the colon and the entire rectum, whereas anal cancer only affects the opening of the rectum or the anus.
Anal cancer affects nearly 8,000 Americans every year, 1,000 of whom die. One in four people is diagnosed with this cancer only after it spreads to the lymph nodes, and one in ten people is diagnoses after the cancer has metastasized  to other organs. Unfortunately, this cancer has been on the rise in recent years, although it’s still rarer than colorectal, rectal or colon cancer.

Anal Cancer Symptoms

As with any cancer, detecting anal cancer early is crucial for successful treatment. This, however, is not always easy as the symptoms it gives are not always present. These are the symptoms you should never ignore:

Itching in the anus Tenderness or pain in the anus

Unusual bowel movements

Anal bleeding

Unusual discharge from the anus

A hardened area or a lump near the anus

Although the exact causes of anal cancer are still unknown, some contributing factors include a weakened immune system, smoking, and frequent anus irritation.

Anal cancer mostly affects adults over 60. Moreover, men under 35 and women over 60 are also at a higher risk of developing colon cancer.

How to Detect Anal Cancer in Its Early Stage

As already mentioned, early detection is vital for successful treatment. Traditional medicine offers a number of methods to detect anal cancer and some of these include:

Digital Rectal Exam:  A doctor examines the anal cavity with their fingers looking for any abnormalities or lumps in the anus.

Anoscopy: This method gives a clearer view of the inside of the anus. It’s performed with an anoscope, a small tubular instrument that a doctor inserts into your anus. This test is usually done after the doctor has found any abnormalities during the digital rectal exam.

PET scans, MRIs, CT scans, x-rays, ultrasounds and biopsies are also methods used for detection of anal cancer. These tests are found controversial by some people who claim that they can cause anal cancer to spread.

Firstly you can try Google DFP = Read About Google DFP here

Or you can try an external Ads script.

That will rotate the Ads for you

Or better still try the script below.

First, place this where you want the banners to be seen:

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/ad-rotation.js"></script>
<noscript>JavaScript must be enabled to view this element</noscript>

Next, build a page called ad-rotation.js in a folder called "js", and in it place:

Code: [Select]
alt0="Advertisers Website";

alt1="Advertisers Website";

alt2="Advertisers Website";

alt3="Advertisers Website";

alt4="Advertisers Website";

alt5="Advertisers Website";

len=6; // Number of banners

today=new Date();

// Edit the below for specific banner size
document.writeln('<a href="'+eval("lnk"+rnd)+'" title="'+eval("alt"+rnd)+'" rel="external"><img src="'+eval("gfx"+rnd)+'" alt="'+eval("alt"+rnd)+'" width="468" height="60" /><br /></a>');

BlackBerry / Whatsapp Extends Blackberry Shutdown Date

WhatsApp earlier this year announced they would no longer be supporting BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 handsets by the end of 2016 but it seems they have changed their mind.

According to an update in the FAQ section of the WhatsApp App it has now been extended to June 2017.

WhatsApp support for mobile devices

As announced in our blog, we will soon be ending support for certain devices. On June 30, 2017, we will no longer support the following platforms:

BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 Nokia S40 Nokia Symbian S60 The following platforms will no longer be supported at the beginning of 2017:
Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 Windows Phone 7 iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

These platforms don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android running OS 2.3+, a Windows Phone 8+, or an iPhone running iOS 7+ before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.

The new update for the BlackBerry 10 version is available through BlackBerry World, it should be however noted that this just resets the time-bomb built into the app. a whole lot of people have been trying to dispose their phones to get compatible ones but i guess now they’ll wait a little more.
Computer/Tech News / Facebook Allows You Chat With Stranger With New Feature Called Rooms
« Last post by gyft on November 14, 2016, 03:19:30 PM »
- Facebook's new feature lets you chat with strangers on any topic you are interested in.

Most recent update on Facebook, has been the news about a new feature. Report states that Facebook is currently testing a new feature for its Messenger app.

Report called the new feature ‘Rooms,’ this  it is a bulletin board-style feature allowing users to participate in public conversations that are focused on delicate topics. Facebook has rolled out the new feature already in Canada and Australia.

The new feature, will be rolled out to limited users in few countries and will be part of Messenger. It is said to be a "bulletin board-style and real-time messaging" feature. The Messenger app gives users the ability to create groups and talk about different topics. However, these conversations are private between friends, what the rooms feature does is making you able to chat with strangers. This allows users discuss a range of topics in the Messenger Rooms –  Football, election, tradition, art, movies, a music concert,and much more.

Each room will have a link that users can share, allowing anyone with Messenger to join the conversation. Well according to Moxon, the new Messenger Rooms feature will give space to users for discussing topics with anyone who's interested about the topic and won't be limited to just friends or family.

With this new update Facebook's plan to revive its public group chat feature just became official. If the new idea is used well it would be a great feature on Facebook. For other countries that do not have the update, they would have to wait till Facebook extends the feature.

Health And Lifestyle / Reasons Why Hover Board Explodes And How To Spot A Safe One
« Last post by Timi Dapsin on November 14, 2016, 02:06:34 AM »
Many people will like to use or get the Hover board for their loved ones, But then you begin to wonder if you are not actually buying a time bomb.

Users have complained of their hover board lighting up and catching fire where as some explodes

This raised alot of concerns to Hover board buyers and users world wide

No 1. Over Charging
This is one of the causes of Hover board fire incidents.
Over charging your Hover board causes the battery to heat up and can catch fire, especially when plugged in for way too long

No 2. Not Using Specified Chargers
Using the wrong or bad chargers to charge your Hover board might be the wrong thing to try.
Using anyhow chargers to charge your Hover board will make the device heat up unnecessarily and might lead too an explosion.

No 3. Wrong Batteries
Another big cause of the popular explosion of Hover boards is the usage of bad or wrong set of batteries

What you should know about LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

Lithium-ion batteries were rolled out in the early 1990s as a common feature in phones and other devices.

Lithium is a lightweight metallic element which is less toxic than previous battery materials such as cadmium or lead.

Unlike earlier "single use" batteries, they can normally be recharged thousands of times.

The other clever innovation in lithium-ions lies in the detailed compact structural design of the layered battery.

These optimize the thermal pathways and the accompanying software-driven power system control that (normally) avoids overcharging and over-discharging the cells.

One consumer found nonsensical instructions that include: 'Get off the bus, get off before you stop intelligent drifting scooter balance state, one foot down, the other one foot in the left drifting scooter again.'

KCC Trading Standards Operations Manager James Whiddett said: 'The first thing consumers should do is check the packaging.

'They won't have manufacturer details on them.

'Plugs won't go into your socket properly and without a fuse, they're very dangerous.

'The product itself should have a CE mark on it and the ones we have found have nothing on them at all.

'These things have batteries in them that can overheat and catch fire and we've seen that happen in the county already. Remember the golden rule, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.'

The instructions should contain all the information you need to use the product safely and the manufacturers name and address should be included so you can contact them if anything goes wrong.

Check for spelling mistakes on the box; this is a giveaway for counterfeits. They also often copy safety marks, so take a close look to be sure they are genuine.

Please note that misusing the Hover board such as loading more weight can also cause it to explode.
