A great alternative to simpleserver is here, PSIPHON HANDLER
Just unlike the Simple Android Server, Psiphon handler does not crash and it powers all apps.

Follow the steps below to get it up and running.

Step1) Download PSIPHON HANDLER Android Download | PC Download

Step2) Firstly set your phones/pc apn to Apn: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net  IP: 10.199.212.2  Port: 8080

Step3) Launch Psiphon Handler and configure it with the below settings.

*Proxy type: real host
*Real Host: server4.operamini.com
*skip others and save.

==> Next, a pop up message asking if you want to use psiphon browser only or Tunnel whole device.
Select tunnel whole device.

==> On the next screen, click on the option tab.

==> For region select USA, then click on more option.

==> Under “proxy settings”’ check the “connect through an HTTP Proxy” box.

==> press the back button and wait for a few secs while it connects.
