7 Natural Remedies For Reducing Skin Wrinkles

As we age our skin loses moisture and elasticity which causes wrinkles. Aging brings about two w's: wisdom and wrinkles. While we would happily take the  former we are not pleased with the later. Though we cannot turn back the hands of the clock, here are some natural remedies to delay how soon those lines show on our faces.

1. Olive Oil

Olive oil was first used over 5,000 years ago when it was extracted from the olive tree, which Egyptians quickly adapted as a cosmetic product. Olive oil is a good moisturizer because it is rich in antioxidants, vitamin A and E, which helps in fighting skin-damaging radicals.
 . Regularly massage olive oil onto the affected skin area will moisturize, repair and even regenerate skin cells. As the oil penetrates deep into the skin and provides a long-lasting protection and keep it moisture.
 . Alternatively, mix a few drops of honey with a few drops of olive oil and glycerin. Massage the mixture into your skin twice daily. This will help eliminate d*ad cells and tighten the skin.

2. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is rich in antioxidants and can prevent the formation of free radicals that are one of the primary causes of early aging. It is a natural skin-softening moisturizer and contains emollient, which helps reduce wrinkles that have already developed. Massage into your skin each night before bed to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while you sleep.

*You can also massage your skin with emu oil, almond oil or vitamin E oil to prevent and reduce wrinkles.

3. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera plant contains malic acid that helps reduce wrinkles by improving the elasticity of your skin. The clear gel inside an aloe vera plant has wound-healing and soothing effects when applied to the skin. Sunburns are one of the quickest ways to damage and wrinkle skin.
 . Cut an aloe vera leaf from the plant and extract its gel. Apply the fresh gel onto your skin and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
 . Alternatively, mix a teaspoon of aloe vera gel with the content of vitamin E capsule. Apply the mixture to arrears where wrinkles are forming. Leave for half an hour and wash off with lukewarm water.

5. Bananas

Bananas are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants that combats the causes of wrinkles and fine lines . This fruit is not just good for eating, using banana mash twice a week will rejuvenate your skin and treat wrinkles in a natural manner.
 . Mash two ripe bananas into a thick past and apply the paste on the wrinkled areas. Leave it on for at least half an hour then wash it off with lukewarm water.
 . Alternatively, make a paste of avocado and banana mixed with a little amount of honey. Apply to your skin, leave for 20 minutes and then wash off.

6. Egg White

Mix together one egg white after you must have separated it from its yolk with a teaspoon of fresh lemon juice and half teaspoon of honey to reap the antiseptic and antibacterial benefits of honey along with the astringents in lemon juice used to fight off bacteria. Those with oily skin will benefit most from the powerful ingredients in egg whites, as it helps tighten, tone and shrink pores by reducing excess sebum secreted in your pores.

7. Ginger

Ginger works as an excellent anti-wrinkle remedy due to its high antioxidant content. Ginger helps to inhibit the breakdown of elastin, one of the main causes of wrinkles.
 . Mix a pinch of grated ginger with a tablespoon of honey and eat every morning.
 . You can also drink ginger tea twice daily.
