Panasonic Indestructible Camera

The Panasonic’s Aero PTZ Camera WV-SUD638 can survive winds upwards of 180 MPH , but don’t plan on recording in those absurd conditions.

It is s also said that at 134 MPH the camera’s going to be jostled around by those intense winds, so to reduce vibrations and shaking in the video it records. They also integrated two separate motors to compensate for horizontal and vertical motions, in addition to electronic image stabilization.

The Aero PTZ Camera can also shrug off nasty weather, and whatever happens to get picked up and thrown around by strong winds.

Its fiberglass housing prevents corrosive salt water from slowly degrading the hardware, and a tiny wiper blade on the front clears off rain and dirt. It also has a defroster that allows the camera to function in temperatures as low as -58 degrees Fahrenheit, and a heating element that warms the glass in front of the lens so that it doesn’t fog up.

• Full HD resolution of 1080p at 60fps with a 30X optical zoom lens
• Super Dynamic function ensures a wider dynamic range compared to conventional cameras
• Sphere Vision 3D viewing provides 360-degree continuous panning and +/- 90-degree tilt range
• Wind load durability 60m/s (operation) to 80m/s (non-destructive)
• Fully water and dust proof conforming to IP67, NEMA -4X compliant and IK10 environmental specifications
• Operates in extreme hot and cold conditions from -58 °F to +131 °F (-50 ºC to +55 ºC)

Looking at its makeup, it us definitely one camera that would require lesser maintenance. It fits Security and Mobile Video Solutions.
There is no manufacturer's suggested retail price. The company will release the camera as a built-to-order product in September 2016.
