Leica Launches Sofort Instant Camera (Review)
« on: September 17, 2016, 10:26:41 PM »

Leica, recently launched an instant film camera. The instant camera was named Sofort.

The device was created for people who love hard copies of photographs, and, can't wait for them to be printed.

Its reported that Leica will showcase the Sofort next week at Photokina 2016, the bi-annual photography show kicking off in Cologne.

The Leica Sofort comes in 3 colors: Mint, Orange, and White. The Leica Sofort also features the company's own fixed 60mm (34mm equivalent) lens with a maximum aperture of f/12.7, coupled with an integrated flash module.

The instant camera has eight operation modes to select from - Automatic, Selfie, People & Party, Action & Sport, Bulb, Macro, Self-Timer, and Double Exposure. So, it doesn't matter what place and outdoor/ indoor you are in, Leica Sofort can shoot photographs in all different modes it offers. Also has a  'Selfie' mode is specially for selfie lovers.

"The Sofort instant Camera accepts B&W, colour instant film packs that are easily available in the market for somewhere around $14 to $18 - almost negligible compared to the price of the camera."

The Sofort is also said to ship along with three different instant film pack options - a color film pack with 10 exposures, a colour film double pack with 20 exposures, and a monochrome film pack with 10 exposures. Fortunately, you can also use Fujifilm's Instax Mini film packs. The device comes at a price of $299 . So, If you plan getting the camera you also get a bunch of accessories along with the Sofort,  with additional costs.

The camera’s creative tool features preset modes for Automatic, Party & People, Sports & Action, and Macro, helping you shoot properly exposed photos in a wide range of situations. There are also options for shooting multiple exposures, time exposures, self-portraits, and self-timer photos.

Other features and specs include a 60mm f/12.7 (34mm in 35mm equiv) lens, shutter speeds of 1/8 to 1/400, a 0.37x optical viewfinder, and a 100-exposure battery life.

The Instant camera is here to compete  with the others like it.

We just hope only it does better, if you have comments about the camera feel free to leave a comment below
