- Google's Android pay adds visa and MasterCard payment to aid faster payment/checkouts
Android Pay, has been designed to work with existing solutions to improve online checkout across the mobile web. Google have announced a partnership with Visa and MasterCard, so now users will be able to pay for your online purchases using just your Pay account.
Noting the stress involved in making payment/checkouts, Android Pay’s claims is that you can keep details secure even as you connect your other accounts while making payment faster and easier with the new update.
This effectively means that Android Pay users will be able to perform easier and faster checkouts by just authenticating their fingerprint, and no additional details, wherever Visa Checkout or Masterpass are accepted.
The Android Pay’s open platform also makes the payment integration easy for merchants and developers. For merchants who have enabled Visa Checkout or Masterpass on their sites, have the privileged of instantly benefiting from these enhanced payment experiences as the buttons will update automatically.
Google also says in a post:"...just as apps such as Fancy and Luxe have seen with Android Pay, these merchants can look forward to faster checkout times, fewer abandoned carts, higher conversions and increased sales..."
Google also says the new Android Pay app will be updated with Visa Checkout and Masterpass integrations in early 2017.
